Reliance Jio Infocomm Limitedd (Generally known as JIO), is a mobile network operator in the country. It is operated by Reliance Industries and is headquartered at Mumbai.Ambani's Jio is the only telecome organization to provide VOLTE service in India.
The service started on September 5, 2016with a 'Welcome Offer'. And originally started on December 27, 2015 as on 83rd Birth anniversary og Dhirubhai Ambani who is the Founder of Reliance Industries.Jio had originally tied uwith Intex mobile industries but in the beginning of 2016 reliance Jio also Launched their Own LYF series of Smartphones with water 1 .
